I am trying to book a vacation to Costa Rica but I have no idea what city to book it in. I wanna stay somewhere on the beach, close to nightlife, and where there is a lot of activities. Please help me and if you have been there describe the place you thinks I should go. I am 21 and I am going with my boyfriend and another couple who are young as well.

Personally, I liked San Jose when I was there years ago. It’s a great city and is sort of like Denver, but the mountains are on the wrong side.

Hi, I’m currently Russian Sitizen, but have a legal status as a Canadian landed immigrant. I’m not sure if i could go to Costa Rica without opening a visa and just using the documents i have?
Any info is appreciated, thanks in advance!

If you have permanent residency for Canada, then you don’t need a visa for Costa Rica, even with a Russian passport.
However, unless you flight goes directly from Canada to Costa Rica, you may need a transit visa for the USA.

Anyone been there? Anything I should or shouldn’t do? By the way I"m 24 year old male. I"m trying to have a good time.

Well, Playa Grande is the exact right place for you because its right next to Playa Tamarindo and Tamarindo has a very fun night life. Once your there you will see what clubs to go to and also what bars. There is a dance club called Aqua, it gets packed with ladies, they play Hip Hop, Reggea, Trans and more dance music, it has AC and you will see a lot of tourist girls also. There is also a bar called White House Casino, it has a bar where some good looking ladies. Just be carefull with STD’s make sure you always wear a hat.

Aqua is a nice club to go to there and there are more but i cant think of them right now but once your there you will see. Tamarindo is not too much of a dangeous area but of course just take normal precautions like you normally would.
