How to start a Starbucks in Costa Rica or another country?
A coworker of mine really wants to start a Starbucks in Costa Rica or other business like a Panda Express there or maybe another country. Does anyone know where i may be able to find some information for him? Please and Thank you.

I’m pretty sure Panda Express franchises:

I suggest Dunkin’ Donuts. They’re easy to franchise and they’re popular cuz they’re joined with Baskin Robbins (ice cream shop). Here’s some info:

Go to each companies web site and look for a link to franchising information. Each company will be different in financial requirements, licensing, royalties, etc., so there is really no general answer.

You’re talking about owning a franchise, which is a store owned by an individual, licensed by the corporation. Starbucks doesn’t franchise–all their stores are owned by the corporation. However, for other companies who DO franchise, go to their website and look for franchise/franchising. If you like what it has to say, request a UFOC (Uniform Franchise Offering Circular). It will give you the rules of owning that franchise, an idea of how much you can make, costs, etc.

Of course you will need to contact starbucks corporate offices. You can do this by using their web site. However be warned, in america they are closing 600 starbucks retail stores for bad profits, so seriously consider your investment again before you open a store.
