I’m also a woman who has lived in CR now for 3 years – I’ve watched several of your tubes now, and you guys are totally right on with everything you are putting out here. It certainly validates and echos some of my experiences, (both positive and negative) and i’m glad to see this kind of information getting out there. I wish i had seen this stuff before i got here!

You have to apply for residency…not really difficult, just takes awhile. You need a lawyer to help you with it. It’s a paperwork thing,,, or else you have to leave the country every 3months stay gone for at least 72 hours and then return… your 3 months starts over.

My one question is: what about the whole Visa issue? How does one from the states obtain the proper Visa, so that they can live in Costa Rica ??

I know- for REAL. Bavaria Dark is SO much BETTER than Imperial. But of course, I’ve been known to drink just about anything…lol. Thanx for the comment. Where’s my Cacique?

  16. hanumann23 Says:

Great interview, keep the Expat series going. One disappointment though, why aren’t you drinking a dark Bavaria?
