What are some fun things to do in Costa Rica?
Any ideas or suggestions on what to do in Costa Rica? I am currently in Costa Rica for three weeks and I want to do fun things while I am over here.

you have to try surfing
rent dirt bikes that you can ride on the beach .
also go canopying

The Canopy Tour {Zip Lining} and Hiking at Monte Verde “ROCK”!!! Surfing {and the night life} at Tamarindo is good and Deep Sea Fishing at Flamingo was good also. Volcano Arenal is a good spot as is the windsurfing on Lake Arenal.

If you are in Costa Rica, you should have a really good idea of what is there. But here are some things you can find in CR: white water rafting, kayaking, surfing, beaches, hiking, biking, ATV, horseback riding, volcanoes, rain forest, canopy tours, suspension bridge hiking, shopping, spice farms, butterfly gardens, zoos, botanical gardens, guided tours (such as the city of San Jose with history and stuff), catamaran rides, waterfalls, museums, hot springs, and repelling. I think I just named everything I’ve ever done in CR and a bunch of stuff that I haven’t gotten around to yet. But that should give you an idea of what you can do while you are there.

Go to any beach and go to Monte Verde.

You can go to Fortuna San Carlos Arenal Vocano, and sky train, puentes colgantes, waterfalls, Rafting at Monteverde that’s near to Arenal, also Guanacaste beaches, Playa Hermosa, beaches located near to Liberia, also there is Punta Leona, snorkeling, diving, fishing,hiking biking, great awesome and beautiful beaches, in the capital city, you can go to great bars like Jazz Cafe, el Observatorio,cool restaurants, la Verbena in carretera vieja a Tres Rios, la Lluna de Valencia, or El Taller del artista with Bohemian ambience.
You can visit Cartago and its Volcanoes, or you can go to Heredia and go to the mountains to enjoy some fresh air.
You can visit Montezuma or Mailpais beaches!! Costa Rica Its awesome hope you can enjoy it!!

extreme sports (bungee, canopy, etc)
go to the beach, mountains or volcanos
visit museums
and party all around!

Costa Rica is an adventure travel paradise, and there are no shortage of things to do.
My top 5 list goes like this:
1. Learn to surf in Tamarindo
2. Go scuba diving in Playas del Coco
3. Do a canopy tour in Monteverde (zip lines through the jungle)
4. Fish for sailfish out of Quepos
5. Visit Arenal Volcano and see the night fireworks, er lavaworks
There are loads more things to do, this is just a starter.
