What is good protection i can use for my Nikon D90 to protect it from the humidity in Costa Rica?
I am going to costa rica on a mission trip, and i was asked to take pictures for the trip. I want to bring my D90, but I know the moisture and humidity is REALLY bad there. Like, 100% humidity. So, i was wondering what I could do to keep my camera protected.

I would just keep a few of those Silica Gel packs in your camera bag. When not using the camera keep it sealed up in the bag. These will help. They absorb moisture in the air and wont hurt anything.

You can pack some silica gel packs in your bag, but from my experience from the Caribbean during hurricane season, my old D100 survived over nine weeks on-board a sailing vessel with no humidity issues.
It has been just under three years since that adventure and there are still no ill effects. Here in the states, we have 100 % humidity in the southern states. Your D90 and many of the other Nikon and Canon cameras have excellent environmental seals to protect them even from light rain or when shooting in the desert.
The lenses on cameras seem to have the most problems. Fungus can attack the lens coatings. I would be more concerned with keeping the silica gel packets around them
