Where can I get a grant to fund a volunteer trip to costa rica?
I found out about a wildlife sancuary in costa rica that I absolutely want to volunteer at. however, I dont have much money, and i would have to pay for plane tickets, lodging, and food. all of the grant information i can find is only for particular organizations, and this one is smaller so there arent any grants that are specific to it.

There are NO grants for volunteering abroad. None. You will have to take out a loan, ask friends and family to help fund your trip, or work to make the money.

There wouldn’t be any public grants for that, you are talking about your personal traveling expenses, and you are not non-profit. You need to pay to get yourself there. There are hundreds of wildlife sanctuaries closer then Costa Rica.
You might be able to get a private donation, the sanctuary itself might know of those offering to pay for transportation if you are highly skilled and needed, such as an animal surgeon.
