Team USA come back with LAST SECOND GOAL – vs. Costa Rica – 10/14/09

Team USA:
Clinched 1st place in group for the World Cup.
Team USA came back after being down 2-0. Jonathan Bornstein headed the ball in at the last seconds. It was special. And what about the set up? Also amazing. This team fought until the end.
Charlie Davies:
Davies, a member of Team USA, was hit hard in an automobile accident in Washington D.C. recently. Davies survived, but, sadly, a woman who was with him died. Davies is currently in the hospital recovering from the dreadful accident. We pray for the family of the lady who died and we pray for Charlie and his family. Number 9, this one was for you.

The ironic thing is that not too long ago (Honduras vs Costa Rica) a Honduras broadcaster incited in an open broadcast to lynch the Mexican refere because Mexico was the black hand…several weeks later because of a Mexican refere the game goes to overtime and a half Mexican scores the goal that gave Honduras its ticket to the world cup
