Gaia Hotel Reserve Manuel Antonio Costa Rica

Hey Everyone, we got a chance to stay a couple nights at the Gaia Hotel and Reserve in Manuel Antonio Costa Rica. http://GaiaHR.com Folks, this is a 5-Star, ADULT ONLY hotel and resort. Quite funny actually, the night before we were at Tranquilo Backpackers in San Jose- reviewing that and some of the other hostels in the San Jose area. The next night, Gaia in Manuel Antonio. So, does this 5-star hotel live up to its status? I gotta say we were thinking Gaia may be a little pretentious, after all, studio’s and villa’s start at about $220 and go up to about $900. Don’t get me wrong, we appreciate 500,000+ thread count and flat screen tv’s as much as anyone, and they DO have a 12 acre Reserve with rare wildlife and lush vegetation on the property. But what about the pretentiousness? Would they be snooty? Well, Check this video out and see if the Gaia Hotel and Reserve meet OUR standards of 5-Star… without the ATTITUDE.

I went for dinner …
I went for dinner many times at GAIA. The view is amazing from up there. They make killer cocktails. Its a must when you are in MA.

We’re trying to get in there and do a video REVIEW.. but they don’t seem to like us much. But we’ve heard only good things about them….and they have great VIEWS and a GREAT location…. put in the good word for us… ps. We’ll be reviewing them regardless though… soon enough.

You want to travel …
You want to travel with these guys or at least listen to their adventures and perspective on how they get the best bang for their buck…they can hang with slumdog accomodations, or be 5 star High Maintenance Guests…so when you want to know how to get the most for your money…check out their other stuff too…This place looks awesome…
