Hotels in the rainforest in Costa Rica?
I heard of some hotels that are located IN the actual canopy in the Costa Rican rainforest.
1 What are the names of some of these "hotels"?
2 Are they reasonably priced (if you were to go in March)?
3 What area/town are they located in and is this a safe location?
Thanks a lot!!!
I’ve stayed at El Sapo Dorado in Monteverde. Beautiful place, reasonably priced, and great food.

I’m gonna recommend Tabacon Hot Springs & Resorts in Arenal, which is on the base of Mt. Arenal. That is an active volcano which spews lava everynight. The prices aren’t insane, but they aren’t the cheapest either. They have TONS of activities around there such as rappeling down waterfalls, skybridges, tours into the rainforest…just to name a few. Also the town of Arenal has some pretty cool stuff and fun people. It is about two hours from San Jose.

I also stayed there in November for a few days while touring Costa Rica and that was my favorite place while I was there.
