This is the view from Lot 3 of Rancho Silencio, looking towards the gulf. This is a cloudy day and I am not zoomed in but you can see the gulf in between the top of the mountains and the cloud layer. If it was not cloudy you would see much more of the Gulf.

Rancho Silencio is “Paradise at an affordable price!” We are located about 15 min. from San Ramon in the Central Valley, at 2850 feet which is about perfect for cool nights and not-too-hot days.

Experience the authentic Costa Rican beach vacation in a setting away from crowds yet close to everything. Casa de Somers is a beautiful beachfront vacation rental home sitting in an enormous landscaped lot that includes its own lagoon and cascading waterfall.

The property sits on a seemingly endless expanse of black volcanic beach called Esterillos. Esterillos is excellent for surfing but also for swimming and shelling. The tide swings back and forth every day many meters so it’s an spectacle just to watch it.

The house offers many comforts, including private pool, air conditioning, cable TV, phone, internet and onsite caretakers. Three of the bedrooms are located on the first floor. The Master bedroom is located on a second floor and enjoys an ensuite bathroom with bathtub. From the wraparound balcony one can command views of the beach and the pool area.
