Jaco | Costa Rica Travel and Vacation

I am reading some posts that Jaco has bad crime. Others that don’t say much. How is crime in Jaco Costa Rica?

How is the night life? Are there a lot of tourists there?

Im planning to go to Jaco, Costa Rica. Which is the best place to stay around there?

A friend and I will be arriving in san jose mid august. We are only staying in san jose for a night then traveling over to jaco beach. We are interested in canopying, atv’ing, maybe whitewater rafting, and would like some suggestions on where to go for these types of activities around the jaco area and also more suggestions on some fun things to do in costa rica?

Monica was undecided as to what she wanted to do next, and my travel plans sounded too tempting to resist, so she will be joining me.
