Travel to Costa Rica with GISetc! We’re seeking teachers of all levels desiring to build their global skills and knowledge of world environments and human geography. Costa Rica hosts a variety of ecosystems and we will highlight lush tropical rainforest, rivers, and abundant marine environments. This 9 day workshop is designed to offer participants an engaging hands-on experience in digital field technologies while working with key community leaders and businesses, resulting in a
meaningful service to these communities.

Fully air conditioned and each room also has a fan. High quality linens and towels, fully equipped kitchen, 2 en-suite bathrooms, full sets of outdoor furniture for the poll area and more. The corner lot position provides privacy and easy access.
Game fishing, horse riding tours, trips to the Hacienda Baru Wildlife Refuge can be arranged for you; surfing instructors and surf shops abound in Dominical; whale and dolphin sighting in the Costa Ballena Marine National Park is just 15 km away. We can assist with transport arrangement and grocery shopping.

Arenal Volcano is the only constantly active volcano in Costa Rica, producing ash columns, explosions and glowing red lava every day. It is considered one of the ten most active volcanoes in the world and it is definitely a ¨must see¨ destination. Hike through the rainforest, enjoy a very relaxing time in the hot springs, and then have a delicious dinner by the mountain side. On our way back in the evening, we will make a stop on the ¨eruptions side¨ of the volcano, so we can observe the red lava and rocks sliding down the mountain (if the weather is clear)

Casa Linda Beach House Rental in Costa Rica

Kirk built lovely Casa Linda near Casa Bambu, facing the same beautiful beach. The houses are about 150 feet apart, but separated by landscaping and invisible to each other. Each has its own private beach path and is a complete and separate entity. Like Bambu and our other houses, Casa Linda is fully equipped, open air and tropical. It is a gorgeous house with four bedrooms and two full bathrooms.
