My parents want to do a joint 60th birthday abroad and Belize, Puerto Rico, and Costa Rica are on their list. Belize sounds good because people speak English, Puerto Rico because it’s American, and Costa Rica because a lot of people say it’s cool down there. They’d like to find a balance between comfort and trying something new and somewhat adventuresome. I would prefer responses from people who have actually traveled to these places. Thanks.
I have money leftover from a trip I took to Costa Rica about a week ago and I want to exchange it somewhere. Of course I’d like to get the most out of the money and I know airports are expensive. Any suggestions, please?
Thankyou!!!
This is our first trip to Costa Rica. We want to do the canopy tour, hot springs, and relax on the beach but we are up for anything really.
What cities and places should we stay?
What activities are “must do” for first timers?
We would like to go to a beach resort at the end of our trip and relax before going home– what areas are the best?
Any tips and/or suggestions are appreciated.
My class is going on a trip to costa rica over spring break and my 16th birthday and christmas are right before that tripp. I was gonna save all the money i got to go to costa rica or get a car.. which one would you rather do? trip or car?

Hey all, I am planning to go to costa rica in november with a few friends. We plan to stay in san jose and go to Jaco beach for a day or two. We are interested in staying at the sportmen’s lodge in san jose, del rey and claritas in Jaco. I would appreciate tips regarding lodging, and general info for the single male traveler. Thanks
I want to take a senior trip to Costa Rica for a month?

Two of my friends and I want to take our senior trip to Costa Rica. Both of them have been on trips there before, but only for a week and with their families. We all surf and are looking forward to the new culture. I would be flying out of Norfolk International. We want to live on a relativly small budget(no expensive hotels or meals). I heard somewhere that in places you are allowed to pitch tents on the beach for free. Is this true? I love to eat and would eat 2-3 meals a day with some snacks thrown in. What should we plan on spending without airfare? Any help is much appreciated
