A jungle adventure is waiting for you as you hike through 165 acres of private reserve nestled by thousands of acres of wild rainforest. Before reaching the local waterfall for an energizing swim, the guided tour will take you on trails leading to amazing discoveries in one of the World’s most biologically diverse places. Your guide will help you learn about the plants, insects, animals and 275 species of birds that call Golfo Dulce home. Under a near endless canopy of trees you will be introduced to the unique role each creature plays in the rainforest ecosystem. After your eco-discovery hike you can let your mind wonder through the rainforest while you sit in a fresh pool of mountain water under a rushing but friendly waterfall.

The Rincon de la Vieja is an active volcano located in the Guanacastes Volcanic Mountain Range. It gives you the unique opportunity to hike and witness secondary volcanic activity. As you walk along one of the many trails, you will see fumaroles, boiling mud pots and bubbling hot water, as well as the flora and fauna of the tropical rain forest. This tour gives you the opportunity to learn about volcanoes and nature.
Included: park entrance fee, lunch, a/c transportation and bilingual guide.
