Nosara, Costa Rica Beach House Rental – “Olas Playitas”
Author: admin
Settle into the rhythms of the ocean and the sounds of the jungle and then discover Playa Guiones, Nosara – where peace and fun come in warm waves.
Only a three-minute walk from the amazing 5 km long Playa Guiones and its incredible surf, this beautiful 3-year-old house, called Olas Playitas, is a piece of heaven. Situated in a lush jungle, its just steps from a surf shop (for all your board, bike and other transportation needs), a two minute walk from a convenience/liquor store and the pubs and restaurants of Kaya Sol & the Gilded Iguana.
The Howler monkeys will amuse you as families of them graze in the treetops above the house. Relax and enjoy the amazing sights and sounds of the jungle right from the comfort of your own covered patio.
Come to master the waves, relax and enjoy the jungle sounds and wildlife that will cross your path.

Pavones Costa Rica

South Africa has J-Bay, Europe has Hossegor & Mundaka and Costa Rica has Pavones.
The drive down the coast from Dominical is very picturesque and tropical. You immediately start to see fewer tourists and more greenery. Heading down to Pavones is a classic Costa Rica drive; you drive through forests, plantations, dodgy ferries and bridges. Pavones has the longest left in Costa Rica.
When the swell goes in the right direction, you can connect to different sections, for an 800 meters long ride. There are some fast and solid left breaking waves. When waves reach 4 feet high it becomes fun to ride.
The surroundings are exceptionally picturesque and I really recommend hiring a boat over to the peninsula de Osa. De Osa is the only indigenous forest left in Costa Rica on the pacific side. This is the place if you want to find macaws in the wild. On your way over you might be lucky to spot some whales and dolphins.
