Not at all….. unless you’re careless. You’re chances of being a victim of a strong-arm robbery and such is pretty nil here. They usually steal ‘things’ out of opportunity and distraction….

Isn’t it dangerous …
Isn’t it dangerous to travel with a lot of cash there? I’d prefer it, but it seems like it might be a potential hazard.

Very true about …
Very true about travelers checks. I work in a hotel down here and we wont take them. Only cash or cards.
